Dr. M. Buğra Öktem was born in 1964 in the Tarsus district of Mersin. After completing his secondary and high school education at the private Tarsus American High School, he graduated from Istanbul University in 1990. He graduated from Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine. He worked as a doctor and consultant in the tourism sector in Antalya and Marmaris.
He carried out research on herbal medicine in Germany, France and the Far East and trained at the Gujarat Ayurvedic University, affiliated to the Ministry of Health in India, between 2002 and 2004. In 2004, he worked at Kottakal Arya Vaidya Sala Hospital in India on the application and production of herbal medicines.
In May 2006, he opened the Detox and Anti-Aging Centre in Nişantaşı, Istanbul. Since 2006, he has been consulting and training hotels on health concepts and Ayurvedic detox and anti-aging treatments.
He is currently seeing patients/clients and continuing the detox and anti-aging programmes at the Crassula Ayurvedic Detox Centre he founded at the Cornelia Diamond Golf Resort & Spa Hotel in Antalya Belek, Istanbul Levent Kanyon, Fulya Selenium Plaza, Istanbul Ataşehir Palladium Business and Izmir Bayraklı Folkart Towers.
