Professor Özge Çelik was born in Istanbul in 1979. She completed her undergraduate education at Istanbul University, Department of Biology and his Master’s degree at Marmara University, Department of Pharmaceutical Biotechnology. She received her Ph.D. degree from Istanbul University, Faculty of Biology in 2010.
Özge Çelik, who conducts scientific studies in the field of biotechnology, was awarded in 2016 within the framework of Tübitak 1512 Young Entrepreneur Support Programme TRD Biotek Biyoteknoloji Ltd. Ltd. and founded her company. Özge Çelik, who received the title of Professor in 2019, is a faculty member at Istanbul Kültür University, Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics. She has more than 50 publications in renowned journals in the field of plant and pharmaceutical biotechnology.
Prof. Dr. Özge Çelik received the “Nutrigenetic-Epigenetic Consultancy” training from the Nutrigenomics Institute in Spain in 2020. In 2022, she completed the Wellbeing CoachTraining given by Wellbeing Coach and Ayurveda Trainer Ebru Şinik at Gedik University and received the title of “Wellbeing Coach”. In 2023, she completed her training as a Biointegrative Breath Therapist, Wellaging and Exercise Nutrition & Supplements Coaching at Yükselen Çağ Wellbeing Academy.
In the same year she completed the ICF accredited Functional Wellness Coaching training at the Functional Medicine Academy. She completed the “Holistic Nutrition” and “Advanced Nutrition” trainings at the School of Natural Health Sciences (ICMH member) and was entitled to receive the “Higher International Diploma with Distinction-Nutrition Specialist” diploma. Prof. Çelik graduated from Anadolu University’s “Culinary” programme in 2023.
She is married and has one son. Dr Özge Çelik runs her own personal brand, Molecular Wellbeing, a consultancy.
