Organized by the Wellbeing Association and open to the public for the first time, the academia, medicine and business world came together at the “New Generation Lifestyle 1st Wellbeing Conference” to discuss “wellbeing”.

Wellbeing and Holistic Health Association’s first public event ‘New Generation Lifestyle Wellbeing’ conference brought together important names from academia, medicine and business world.

Hosted by Ebru Şinik, Founding President of the Board of Directors of the Wellbeing Association, and all of the board members, the conference focused on wellbeing in physical, mental, spiritual, social, environmental, financial and professional life

Industry professionals, who participated in 6 different panels organized within the framework of the conference, shared their experiences in their business and private lives and gave information about their perspectives that brought them closer to “wellbeing”.

Şinik had this to say about the conference, which attracted 18 panelists and 160 attendees;

“We are very happy to see such an intense interest in the first public event of our association, which was founded only 5 months ago. In the society we live in, almost everyone is in an intense search for ‘being better, feeling better’. I have been working on wellbeing in Turkey for 12 years and we will continue to bring our experiences and practices to a wider audience through the Wellbeing and Holistic Health Association”.
“Being better, healthier and more balanced is not fate. It is the result of your intentions first and your deeds and actions that follow immediately after.” Şinik emphasized that we can create happiness, which is established within the framework of the “laws of giving and receiving,” by giving back to life what life gives us in a timely manner.

Anadolu Isuzu General Manager Tuğrul Arıkan, who was one of the speakers on the Career Wellbeing and Work&Life Balance Panel, also attended the event with his dog Nicole and spoke about the contribution of friends at home to stress management.

Hülya Gedik, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Gedik Holding & Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of Gedik University, Nilgün Keleş, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Sertrans Logistics, Zehra Öney, Founding Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Women in Technology Association, Prof. Dr. Itır Erhart, Lecturer at Istanbul Bilgi University and Berna Sağlam Naipoğlu, Founding President of Bernaylafem PR took part in the event.
